The Scottish Wholesale Association has welcomed this week’s confirmation by the First Minister that Scottish wholesalers will be able to access much-needed hardship grant funding to help businesses which can remain open but are directly constrained by the Scottish Government’s new five-tier local Covid restrictions which come into effect on November 2.

The Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) has welcomed confirmation from the Scottish Government that some food and drink wholesalers will be able to gain access to a small amount of the £40 million support package announced last week for hospitality businesses affected by the latest round of lockdown restrictions.

The Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) has called on the Scottish Government to ensure that their financial support package announced in light of the new temporary restrictions covers food and drink wholesalers and others in the hospitality supply chain as well as the hospitality businesses affected.
