Tickets on sale for Scottish Wholesale Achievers Awards 2027

As judging for the Scottish Wholesale Achievers Awards 2027 gets under way, the Scottish Wholesale Associaton has opened up bookings for the premier industry event in Edinburgh on Thursday, 18 February 2027, at the Corn Exchange.

SWA is also delighted to confirm that the landmark event, now in its 24th year, will feature a complimentary Achievers After Party in the Baron Suite at the same venue. This is in direct response to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees at Achievers 2026 – and party-goers can expect live music, sponsor bars and a midnight feast.

Colin Smith, SWA chief executive, said:

“The countdown to Achievers 2027 is well and truly on and we can’t wait to welcome over 500 people from across the wholesale industry and its supply chain to celebrate outstanding performance and pay tribute to the exceptional individuals who drive our sector and continue to innovate year after year.
“As always, we expect tickets to sell out quickly so we would encourage wholesalers and suppliers alike to secure their places as soon as possible to avoid disappointment,” he added.
“Our After Party at Achievers 2026 proved hugely popular and allowed the celebrations to continue into the wee small hours as well as providing the perfect opportunity for networking.”

Achievers is the only awards programme in Scotland dedicated to the wholesale food and drink sector, celebrating and recognising the efforts of staff across the industry and supply chain. The long-established competition highlights best practice and innovation within the industry and has continued to evolve to meet the needs of an ever-changing market.

New categories

Achievers 2027 features two new categories – Wholesaler of the Year (Under £50 million) which has been introduced to help showcase the importance of SMEs in the Scottish wholesale channel and Best Use of Data & Insight.

The all-important people categories also return, with the overall winner of each people category – Wholesale Driver of The Year, Rising Star of Wholesale, Employee of the Year, Wholesale Local Food Champion, and Supplier Sales Executive of the Year – each receiving £1,000 while there will be £500 awarded to each runner-up and £250 for each highly commended winner.

Colin added:

“SWA has acted on feedback from wholesalers, suppliers, and judges to enhance the awards, particularly the judging criteria and, once again, we have secured the cross-sector experience and expertise of a panel of independent judges who are pairing up with supplier judges in each category from the start of the judging process and helping to compile ‘best practice’ feedback.
“With 15 wholesale category awards and five supplier awards available, Achievers presents a valuable opportunity for wholesalers to benchmark against their peers, show leadership, and gain recognition for the achievements of their people.
“At SWA, we are working harder than ever, and collaborating with suppliers, government, other industry organisations and stakeholders, to raise awareness of the wholesale sector. Achievers is a key component of that drive to make headlines for our industry.”

Tables for the gala dinner and awards presentation – attended by over 500 people – at the Corn Exchange, Edinburgh on Thursday, 18 February 2027 are available to book now via the SWA website or by contacting awards@scottishwholesale.co.uk
